Safa Caravan was founded in 2009 by a small team of Muslims in London who shared a single belief: that the journey to the House of Allah should be within reach of every family, not only those with the means to navigate a complex industry alone. We began with a handful of group departures and a commitment to looking after each pilgrim as we would a member of our own family. That commitment has never wavered.
Our growth has come almost entirely through word of mouth. When a family returns from Umrah and tells their friends and neighbours how well they were looked after, that trust ripples outward. Today, hundreds of families from across the United Kingdom have travelled with us — from Manchester and Birmingham to Glasgow and Cardiff — and many have come back year after year, bringing new family members along with them.

When we first performed Hajj together in the early 2000s, we were struck by how disorganised and stressful the experience could be — not because of the spiritual weight of the journey, but because of avoidable logistical failures. We returned to the UK knowing we could do better, and in 2009 we took the first step.
Safa Caravan was built on the principle that serving pilgrims is itself an act of ibadah. When we help a grandfather perform his first Umrah, or when a mother and daughter complete Tawaf together for the first time, we feel the weight of that responsibility deeply. We are not simply selling travel — we are facilitating a spiritual obligation, and we treat it with the reverence it deserves.
